I watched something that I wanted to be a part of for a long time, die with sickly, mewling whimpers and not a bang, but with little dignity and much callous disregard.

RIP North American Super Hero comics published by the Big Two (and others).

I used to collect, peruse and be inspired. I was motivated to create my own characters and yet hold out for the dream (nightmare now) of working for Marvel or DC.

My dreams are only that now. I would never want to enter the industry now. And never work with the people who have infested it with what you see now.

Props to you folks who are doing it independent and crowdfunding.

Props to you folks here who can take the good (even it wasn't it most certainly is better than the now), old and re-imagine it (you know who you are).

Props to you who are trying to keep your dreams alive (but not you killers of dreams, you don't count here!)

I recognize that I am the type that needs inspiration, and I have not been inspired. Not for a long time.
